The Vancouver Harp Academy is now accepting scholarship applications for new harp students aged 6-12 at our location on 8886 Hudson Street.

 

New harpists only, candidates must not already be taking harp lessons.

 

• There are two full scholarships available, which cover weekly private lessons and all printed materials (including preliminary RCM music theory).

​

•  Scholarships are based on aptitude, no previous experience with music is required.

​

• First round try-outs are from 4-6pm Thursday January 9th 2025 at the Scottish Cultural Centre. 

​

• This try-out will be in the form of a 'first harp lesson', covering posture, basic arm and hand position, and preliminary ear tests (pitch and rhythm).​ 

​
