Where are lessons held?
Private lessons are offered both in-studio (Mount Pleasant & Marpole) and online.

Mount Pleasant lessons are held at:
West Point Grey School of Music, 202 - 75 West Broadway
Marpole lessons are held at:
Scottish Cultural Centre, 8886 Hudson Street

Group classes are held at the Scottish Cultural Centre in Vancouver.
In-home lessons are no longer available.

Can I try a lesson before committing?
Absolutely — you’re welcome to book a free trial lesson to see if harp is the right fit. No pressure, no strings attached.

Do I need to own a harp?
Not right away.
For private lessons, I’ll help you rent or buy a harp that fits your goals and budget.
For group classes, harps are provided during the session, so you can start learning immediately — no harp needed at home unless you want extra practice.

Are your studios wheelchair accessible?
Unfortunately, neither studio is fully wheelchair accessible. The Mount Pleasant location is up two flights of stairs, and the Marpole location has limited accessibility (please contact me for details). If accessibility is a concern, I’d be happy to discuss options — including online lessons.
What’s your cancellation and makeup policy?
Please visit the Lesson Policies page for full details on cancellations, rescheduling, and missed lessons.

How do I join the group classes?
Adult group harp classes run through the Vancouver Harp Circle on Meetup.
Beginner and intermediate groups are available, and harps are provided.
Visit the Group Classes page to learn more and sign up.
